A clearer view of what’s ready.

Turning a fragmented delivery process into a clearer view of readiness and the work that needed attention.

DependenciesReadinessDelivery

The problem

Service teams had to coordinate dependencies and delivery plans across several systems. A status label could reflect someone’s confidence without showing whether the underlying work was actually ready.

My contribution

Worked with service teams, design, and engineering to understand the planning and readiness workflow.

Helped separate user-reported status from system evidence and clarify what should qualify a service as ready.

Narrowed the initial scope around the critical production path, so the team could make progress while broader requests were still being resolved.

The decisions

Different teams used different signals to describe readiness. The product needed a shared meaning that was useful during real delivery decisions.

Design and engineering were moving together, so prioritization had to stay explicit as requirements changed.

Where it landed

The team had a clearer initial scope, a more useful readiness model, and a shared view of the critical path.

The documented result is a clearer plan and readiness model. A delivery-speed improvement has not been independently measured.
